Organizations use multiple content platforms for storing and retrieving their business data. Information Map enables you to connect to and visualize the data stored across various content sources and provides a consolidated insight into your heterogeneous data estate.
Veritas Connection Center (VCC) is a common configuration and data store management portal. It is integrated within Information Map and can be launched from the application switcher. You can seamlessly authenticate with VCC using the Information Map credentials. It serves as an administration console to configure a wide range of on-premises, cloud, and Veritas-integrated content sources, which in turn enables consumer applications, such as Information Map to provide visibility into these additional content sources. VCC also enables you to launch and configure applications other than Information Map.
Veritas Connections Center comprises the following two tabs:

Connections - Create and edit the connections to the content sources.

Credentials - Create and edit the credentials needed to enable Information Map to be able to access the content sources.
