Every Veritas Information Classifier policy is associated with one or more tags. When an item that you have submitted for classification matches the conditions of a policy, the Veritas Information Classifier assigns the associated tags to the item. For example, the Veritas Information Classifier assigns the tag "Corporate-Ethics" to items that match the built-in policy "Ethics and Code of Conduct Policy".

The Veritas Information Classifier comes with a large number of built-in tags, but you can create custom tags if the built-in ones do not meet your needs.
