Veritas Access provides storage provisioning templates for simplifying share creation tasks.

The following policy templates are available:

• Data Protection (Gold) - protects data against device, node, and site failures. It replicates data across two clusters. The clusters should be in different data centers. It mirrors data across three disks and protects against a couple of disk failures. It also secures data by encrypting it.

• Secure Data (Silver) - protects sensitive or confidential data. It encrypts data and provides fault tolerance for up to two disk failures.

• High Performance (Bronze) - ensures the highest possible performance. It also provides fault tolerance for up to two disk failures.
